Sometimes your financial institution's website can prevent your data from updating. When this happens, you may get a connection status message of IMPEDED. Sometimes this can happen if there are new Terms & Conditions or marketing pop-up messages. 

Resolution steps

  1. Log in to the financial institution's website.
  2. Check for any notification or prompt.
    • You may be prompted to accept new terms and conditions or change a security setting (i.e. Allow Third Party access) in order to connect the account.
  3. Return to the financial tools and refresh the account. 
  4. If the problem persists, submit a support request
