Payments - Mobile Updated January 05, 2022 20:29 Payments makes it easy to send money to a contact in your phone or pay a bill. Your financial institution may require you to sign up for bill pay services through an online portal before using the app’s bill pay features. From the Dashboard, scroll until you find the Payments card, then tap it. Choose a payment option: Pay a Bill Pay a Contact Paying a bill From the Dashboard, tap Payments, then Pay a bill. You’ll see previous paid bills and can pay new ones. Tap each option to choose the payee, the account to transfer from (account balances will be displayed), the amount you want to transfer, and when you want to send the transfer.To add a payee, tap Choose Payee, then tap the plus sign on the top right, and choose an option: Search for a Company: Your financial institution may or may not have a list of companies available. Add a Company: You’ll need the company name, address, and phone number, and your account number. Add a Person: You’ll need the person’s name or company name, address, phone number, and your account number (optional). Use the slider at the bottom of the screen to submit your transfer. It will take a moment to process, and a message will appear to tell you if the transfer is successful or if there is a problem. Paying a contact From the Dashboard, tap Payments, then Pay a Contact. Tap each option to choose the account to transfer from (an account balance will be displayed), the contact to transfer to, the amount you want to transfer, and when you want to send the transfer. You have the option of adding a memo to remind yourself what the transfer is for. Transfers to contacts are done through a service called Popmoney, which you’ll see displayed. If a contact isn’t in your phone, you can add them. From the Send Money To section, tap the “+” on the top right and add a first name, last name, and payment method (email, phone number, or account number). Use the slider at the bottom of the screen to submit your transfer. It will take a moment to process, and a message will appear to tell you if the transfer is successful or if there is a problem.
