Create a Custom Campaign

  • Updated

Custom campaigns allow you to send targeted messaging to pre-set locations in MX products, as well as embedded spaces outside MX products with Embedded Spaces. Custom campaigns will be sent to users you've assigned to audiences.

Custom campaigns can be set as continuous, meaning the campaign will be sent to users in your selected audience and to new users who meet the audience criteria in the future. A continuous campaign does not mean a campaign will continuously go to the same users. Rather, it means the campaign will be sent to users who are newly added to an Audience.

To create a custom campaign:
  1. In Marketing Hub, select Campaigns in the left menu.
  2. Select Create Campaign in the top right of the page.
  3. Provide details for each of the following sections:
    • Campaign Name
We recommend choosing a name that relates to the message being sent.

    • Link
Enter or paste the destination URL. Users who interact with the campaign will be directed to the link's destination. If you select Campaign is static, an image or message is displayed, and users will not be redirected.

Mobile banner

Displays an image within the native mobile app (Helios). This image appears between the Accounts and Transactions cards on the dashboard.

Webpage banner

Displays an image within an Embedded Space. We recommend that the size of the image used for Webpage banners match the exact dimensions of the Embedded Space.

Email alert footer

A text-only message within the footer of triggered email alerts. For example, a user who exceeds a budget will receive an email with details about the budget, as well as the message you configure for this campaign. Whether users receive email alerts is dependent on their notification settings.

  • (Master): In Master Widgets, an image will pop up in the lower right-hand corner when a user is viewing the Accounts tab.
  • (Mobile): In Mobile Widgets, an image will pop up and cover the entire screen when a user is viewing the Accounts tab.
  • (Mini): In embedded Spending Mini Widgets, an image will pop up and completely cover the Mini Widget.
